MMG in Lebanon has been awarded the Facility Management contract for Alba University, one of the leading Fine Arts universities in Lebanon.
Located in the Dikweneh area of Beirut, Alba University (The Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts) is a regional leader for Fine Arts and Design, and is the oldest national institution of higher education in Lebanon. Over the last three years, Alba has been undertaking a US$18 million expansion project which will increase the campus from 8,000 to 45,000 square metres, and includes a new theatre, The expansion will increase the space of the campus from 8,000 to 45,000 square metres, and will include a new theatre and five amphitheatres which are equipped with high-tech machines, in addition to workshops for architecture, interior architecture, design, and graphic design.
MMG won the contract for the University’s facility management following a detailed and competitive procurement process. Starting at the end of this month, MMG will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the technical facilities of the University, in addition to managing the technical subcontractors through a resident team.
