MMG Awarded Contract for Iconic World Trade Centre, Doha

MMG continues to bring in new business in Qatar, with the latest contract being awarded for the total facility management of the World Trade Centre (WTC) and iconic tower in West Bay, Doha.

The WTC tower features a 50 story building with a built up area of over 140,000m2 comprising: four levels of car parking for over 1,100 vehicles; a two- level 523-seat auditorium; an exhibition/convention hall covering 1,800m2; and an executive two-level high-end office space at the top of the tower. The tower is owned by Qatar General Insurance and Reinsurance Company with Qatar Petroleum as the sole tenant.

MMG will be responsible for the total Facility Management Services for a period of two years. Services include managing handover from the main contractor and the fit-out period, and MMG will have a dedicated technical and soft services team on site.
